Does your website display your Instagram feed?
If it does, you could be in for a rude shock when the latest Instagram update rolls out on March 31st.
The new change will mean Instagram’s API (Application Programming Interface) will no longer communicate with your website as it usually does—so if your Instagram feed is displayed on your site, it will disappear.
These adjustments are due to security reasons and have been put in place to help protect your data. Although this is a positive change, it can be a pretty big issue if you’ve put a lot of time and effort into your Instagram feed!
Do you still want your feed to appear on your site? We can help. Here at Shared Marketing, we can make some modifications to your website so that the new API keeps communicating with Instagram and your feed is displayed as normal.
If you would like these changes made or if you don’t have Instagram displayed on your website yet and would like it there, be sure to get in touch with our team today.
If you have an ongoing SEO, PPC, Marketing or Maintenance Plan with Shared Marketing you will not need to take any action as this will be taken care of on your behalf.
